I stayed in a cabin for two weeks at Lake Park Campground and Cottages. Beautiful wooded property is clean and kept... immaculate. My cabin was rustic yet updated and spotlessly clean. Onsite laundry was handy and reasonably priced. The owners (who live on site) are warm and friendly. This location is convenient to everything you'll want to see in the Black Hills. Groceries, restaurants, banking, auto services, etc. are located just minutes away. Next door is Canyon Lake Park, where I enjoyed the paved walking/biking trails and lake views every day. Deer were visible just outside my door roaming the grounds. A truly memorable place to stay for my vacation, I highly recommend!read more

We were there last fall/ beginning of winter. Friendly staff. Nice area. They need to do a little updating on the... laundry room... if they haven’t already. There were also issues with water flooding in the bathrooms — so we couldn’t use the shower house. Overall, our stay was nice. I would recommend this place. Those small issues didn’t make much of a difference.read more

Not your normal campground. No fire pits. But super clean and quiet. People were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was... so nice and clean, we booked an extra night. We had a full kitchen and outside grill. Nice!read more

We absolutely love this place!!! I myself is allergic to bee's. We had a situation with bee's and without hesitation... they moved us to a different cabin right away. We got the pleasure of working with the owners and there son. They have done a remarkable job with the site and accommodating everyone's needs. We have a family of 6. Our kids absolutely loved it there and can't wait for next year. My husband and I are already thinking of our trip next year here. Also, rate Lake park campground and cottages in three different sites by the door in the cabin and you will get a gift. Great, wonderful place.read more

Beautiful, well maintained park. Excellent, friendly staff with extensive knowledge of the area. Close to EVERYTHING!... Sherry spent so much time making us feel welcomed. She also had so many interesting tips for visiting all the local attractions. Great place, great stay.read more
