Furnished Long-Term Rentals in Rapid City on Canyon Lake
Lake Park Campground & Cabins leases furnished cabins and lodges by the month through the off-season, with every lease ending May 1. The cabins sit on our property at 2850 Chapel Lane in west Rapid City, a short walk from Canyon Lake and the Rapid Creek bike path. Rent on a 5- to 6-month lease starts at $795 a month and includes water, trash, and internet.
Each cabin comes with furniture, a full kitchen, and a smart TV, our rentals are made to move right in with a suitcase and a box of groceries. Our on-site staff takes care of maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal all winter.

Winter Living on Canyon Lake
From late spring through summer, these cabins rent by the night to families visiting the Black Hills. Once the summer crowds leave, we open them up for monthly leases. The property gets quiet. The campground traffic is gone, the cottonwoods along the creek turn gold, and you can often watch deer walk between the cabins in the morning.
A monthly lease is a good fit if you are in Rapid City on a work assignment or waiting to close on a house. You get a furnished place with a set end date, and you skip the 12-month apartment lease.
The cabins are on the west side of town, where the foothills block more of the wind than you get out on the open east side. You will notice the difference in January.
