Try your hand at fishing, Put on your tennis shoes and follow the creek around the lake on the paved bike path that goes 8 miles. Also available are boat rentals on the lake, sometimes kayaking. Please be advised that motorized watercraft are not allowed on Canyon Lake. The playground accommodates all ages of children, and the rec field you can take crochet, volley ball or horse shoes down there to set up.
